Pinging a blog.

Owning a blog and keeping it up to date is a big responsibility. We spend our precious time writing a post for our blog to attract visitors. Usually many good blogger fails in that. We try to optimize our blog but that also doesn’t work much. Most of us we don’t find our blog post in search result of any search engine. We wait long for the search improvement of our blog site.  For this we cannot blame the search engines for not giving palace in search result.  For this we need to notify the search engines that we have posted a new article.

The questions is how to tell the search engines that “We have posted a new article in our blog”?

For this we need to ping our blog post.

So, What is pinging?

Pinging a blog post is a quick and easy way to notify search engines that we have just published new content on your blog. After pinging, the search engines will crawl your new blog post on their own. So why to wait for search engine to decide when to visit your blog.

We can manually ping a list of server from pingler.com, pingomatic.com or autopinger.com.

How to ping from Window Live Writer?

Pinging From Window Live Writer.

This is for those, who use Window live writer for blogging.

Basic steps to ping your blog post.

Step1- Run Window Live Writer.

Step2- Click Tools, then option.

A window option will appear

Step3- Choose Ping Server.

Then paste the list of Ping server given below on the right side. Then Click on Apply and then Ok.
